Ajith Kumar Say That He Will Not Sign Any Film During Race Season

Dubai 24H Series. This decision comes a few days after he was involved in a car crash during practice.

Ajith Kumar has decided to step back from driving for his team, Ajith Kumar Racing, in the upcoming Dubai 24H Series. This decision comes just days after the Tamil superstar survived a car crash unhurt during a training session in Dubai on January 7.

According to an official statement from his team, Ajith made the “difficult but selfless” choice to step away from driving for his team but will still actively participate in the event. He will take on a dual role, continuing as the owner of Ajith Kumar Racing while also competing as a driver for Razoon in a Porsche Cayman GT4 (Number 414).

In an official statement, the team explained that after evaluating the recent crash and considering the demanding nature of 24-hour endurance racing, they decided to adjust their plans. Ajith Kumar’s well-being and the team’s success were prioritized during these discussions. After much thought, Ajith made the tough but selfless decision to step back from driving for his team. Instead, he will focus on supporting the team and competing in the event in his new role.
