AWoman Kills Husband with Dupatta in Bhiwani
In a shocking case similar to the recent Meerut murder, a woman in Bhiwani, Haryana, killed her husband with the help of her lover and dumped the body in a drain. The woman, who was active on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, was arrested 19 days after the crime. Her lover, who is also a YouTuber, is currently being questioned by the police.
What Happened?
35-year-old Praveen, a resident of Gujron Ki Dhani near the old bus stand in Bhiwani, was married to 32-year-old Raveena from the village of Joodi in Rewari. They had a six-year-old son named Mukul. According to Praveen’s father, Subhash, the couple often had arguments. Raveena was very interested in making short videos on YouTube and had been in touch with a man named Suresh, a YouTuber from Premnagar in Hansi, for about one and a half years.
Subhash suspected that his daughter-in-law had killed his son because of her affair with Suresh. On March 25, Raveena came home and had a fight with Praveen during the day. That night, Praveen was at home, but the next morning he was missing. Since Praveen drove an auto-rickshaw for a living, his disappearance raised concern. When the family asked Raveena about him, she pretended not to know anything.
Three days later, on March 28, Praveen’s body was found in a dirty drain on Dinod Road.
CCTV Footage Revealed the Truth
Not satisfied with Raveena’s answers, Praveen’s family checked CCTV footage from nearby areas for the night of the incident. Around 2 to 2:30 AM, the footage showed Raveena and a man wearing a helmet on a bike. They were carrying what seemed like an unconscious person wrapped in cloth—later identified as Praveen.
