Already I told you that Tesla was planning to launch car in India. Finally Tesla has open first showroom in Mumbai with Model Y.
Tesla First Showroom opened yesterday (15 July 2025) at 10 AM in Mumbai. Elon Musk Company was finalized leas in March 2025 in Mumbai and since company started hiring staff for the Showroom. Company also planning to open next Showroom in Delhi after Mumbai. Company has also started working to expand business in India. But not easy to grab market because already tough competition in the Indian Market in EV segment.

Assembly Plant Plan in India
I want to tell you that Tesla has not confirmed yet about the Assembly plant setup in India. Tesla has confirmed that fully Imported Unit of the Tesla Model Y in India.
There is no official comments to setup Manufacturing Units and Assembly unit in India.
If the demand increase and government incentives for local Electrical Vehicle production, it remain to seem if Elon Musk will eventually consider setting up a Tesla Gigafactory or Assembly Units in India.
