Studio Ghibli-style portraits have become super popular online, turning regular photos into beautiful anime-style drawings. But if you’ve been trying to make your own Ghibli-style images in ChatGPT and keep getting errors, you’re not the only one.
Earlier today, OpenAI stopped free users from generating Ghibli-style images. Now, CEO Sam Altman has shared more bad news—free users will soon have a daily limit on how many images they can create.
Altman explained the issue on X (formerly Twitter), saying:

Why is this happening?
Since the launch of GPT-4o’s image-generation feature, OpenAI has seen a huge increase in users making artistic images, including Ghibli-style portraits. This high demand has put a heavy strain on OpenAI’s GPU power, causing system slowdowns and errors.
Many free users have already experienced problems generating images. Also, ChatGPT doesn’t allow people to turn real human faces into Ghibli-style art—only general illustrations are allowed.
To manage this demand, OpenAI is limiting free users to three image generations per day. Altman hasn’t said when things will go back to normal, but he assured users that improvements are on the way.

Here I am going to explain about the Sam Altman in short. His full name is Samuel Harris Altman. Samuel Harris Altman was born on 22 April 1985 in Chicago into a Jewish family and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. His mother is a dermatologist, and his father was a real estate broker.
