How BSEB Selects Toppers
Every year, BSEB selects the top 10 students in each stream. To confirm their rankings, these students go through an interview where they answer 30–40 subject-related and basic English questions. A panel of 13–14 examiners checks their answers and handwriting. If any issues are found, their rankings may change.
Prize Money for BSEB Inter Toppers 2025
This year, the Bihar government has doubled the cash prizes for top students.
1st Rank: ₹2 lakh (previously ₹1 lakh)
2nd Rank: ₹1.5 lakh (previously ₹75,000)
3rd Rank: ₹1 lakh (previously ₹50,000)
4th–10th Rank: ₹30,000 (previously ₹15,000)
Apart from the cash prize, all top-ranking students will receive a laptop, a certificate, and a medal.
Scholarships for Top Performers
Under the Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship, BSEB has increased financial support for top students.
Top 5 rankers will now receive ₹2,500 per month (earlier ₹1,500).
The scholarship will continue for as long as the student is pursuing further studies.
This initiative aims to support bright students financially and encourage them to achieve academic success.

बीएसईबी कैसे चुनता है टॉपर्स?
हर साल बिहार बोर्ड प्रत्येक स्ट्रीम में टॉप 10 छात्रों का चयन करता है। इन छात्रों का इंटरव्यू लिया जाता है, जिसमें उन्हें 30–40 विषय संबंधित और बेसिक इंग्लिश के प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने होते हैं। 13–14 परीक्षकों की टीम उनके उत्तरों और हैंडराइटिंग की जांच करती है। अगर किसी तरह की गड़बड़ी पाई जाती है, तो रैंकिंग में बदलाव किया जा सकता है।
बीएसईबी इंटर टॉपर्स 2025 के लिए पुरस्कार राशि
इस साल बिहार सरकार ने टॉप स्टूडेंट्स की इनामी राशि को दोगुना कर दिया है।

“देशरत्न डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद मेधा छात्रवृत्ति योजना” के तहत, बीएसईबी ने टॉप छात्रों के लिए वित्तीय सहायता बढ़ा दी है।
टॉप 5 रैंकर्स को अब ₹2,500 प्रति माह (पहले ₹1,500) मिलेंगे।
यह स्कॉलरशिप तब तक जारी रहेगी जब तक छात्र आगे की पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं।
