After the announcement of 8th pay commission establishment news, all Central Government eyes on only on the 8th pay commission. At present, I want to tell you that no matter what anyone says, but the 8th Pay Commission will not be implemented before January 2026. There are many rumors in the market regarding 8th pay commission.
I want to tell you that my father has retired from central government and I have an idea about the pay commission and I know how much time taking to implement.
It is not easy to implement pay commission in short period of time. During the implementation of pay commission they are calculating various type of expenditure. The revision of pay commission is done every 10 years, when the pay commission is implemented, it is done with the prospects of 10 years.
Just I want to tell you that in January 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the formation of 8th pay commission for central Government Employees and Pensioners. Its means government has given approval for formation of team to implement the 8th pay commission. For the implantation of the pay commission the government is forming the team from the various department including union leader of employee. And that team are working on that and they are discuss on the various point and after that they are generating report, and after that submitting to the Government.
Everyone should know that Central Pay Commission are generally established in every 10 years to review and propose adjustments to compensation structures, allowances and benefit for central Government staff, taking into account various economic factors including inflammation rates.
For your information I want to tell you that the previous 7th pay commission was established under the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on February 28, 2014, submitted its recommendation on November 19, 2015, and implementation beginning from January 1, 2016.
When will the team to be formed?
This is the very important and right question. Actually, government has not announced any official date and time, but it will be formed in April to May. So, any how all employees and pensioners have to keep Patience. But January 2026 all employee and pensioner will get salary under the 8th pay commission.
What is the Current Salary of Employees?
We all know that currently all employee and pensioners are getting salary under the 7th pay commission and it will end in December 2025. And under 7th pay commission minimum salary of employee is 18000 this is basic and currently DA is 53% of the basic they are getting and other allowances also.
What is the current DA?
All employees and Pensioners are getting the DA under 7th pay commission and current DA they are receiving 53% of the basic also Government will revise the DA from the January 2025. DA is revised twice in a year’s means in every 6 months. So, the January DA is pending, and government will announce soon.
How Much Salary Increase in 8th Pay Commission?
It is not right to say, how much salary increase under the 8th pay commission. But according to the news in the market salary can be increased 2.87 to 3 times of current basic salary. In 7th pay commission salary was increased 2.57 times of the basic salary, but this time expectation is increased 2.87 to 3 times. If 2.87 will increase than the minimum salary will be ₹ 51660 and if 3 time increase, then minimum basic salary will be ₹ 54000. According to that all allowances will increase.
