Viksit Bharat Yojana: How Private Employees Can Get ₹15,000 From the Government
On India’s 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the “Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana” from the Red Fort (लाल किला). The scheme is worth ₹1 lakh crore and aims to benefit 3.5 crore young people across the country. It starts from today (15th August).
Under this scheme, people getting their first job in the private sector will receive ₹15,000 from the government. I want to tell you that this benefit will get only those employee who are registered in EPFO. Government will give Rs 15000 in two installment.
This benefit also for those employee whose maximum salary is RS 1 Lakh per annum. Those salary is above one lakh per annum, they are not eligible for this benefit. This benefit is also avail for first job only. Government will 1st installment to the employee after completion of 6 month from the joining date and second installment after completion of 12 moth.
This Scheme is very helpful for young people who are going to join His/Her first job in private sector. Always all young people complaining about the salary when going to start first job, but now they will not complain about the salary and also they will be happy.
How Will It Work?
The government will provide subsidies to companies that hire more people.
The focus will be on creating jobs in small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and sectors like manufacturing, services, and technology.
The scheme is designed to boost employment opportunities across India.
Who Will Get ₹15,000?
This benefit will get those employees who are going to join first job of his/her life in private company.
Only first-time employees registered with the EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organization).
The salary must be ₹1 lakh per year or less.
The ₹15,000 will be paid in two installments:
First installment after completing 6 months in the job.
Second installment after completing 12 months in the job and a financial literacy program.
Incentives for Companies
Companies will get ₹3,000 per month per employee for up to 2 years, if the employee stays for at least 6 months.
The manufacturing sector will get priority, and in some cases, the incentive may continue for 3–4 years.
