Royal Enfield has introduced the new Scram 440, raising the bar in the adventure motorcycle segment. Priced at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the 2025 model comes in two variants: Trail and Force, replacing the older Scram 411. The Scram 440 also features a bigger, more powerful engine. Here’s all you need to know about this latest adventure bike.

The new Scram 440 is designed for versatility and comfort. It has a 19-inch front tyre (100/90) and a 17-inch rear tyre (120/90). The braking system includes a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc.

For suspension, it features 41 mm front forks with 190 mm wheel travel and a rear monoshock with 180 mm travel, ensuring a smooth ride on all terrains. The bike comes with dual-purpose tyres, available in both tubed and tubeless options, and is equipped with dual-channel ABS. The rear ABS is switchable, providing better control for off-road riding. This feature is standard on all variants.

The Scram 440 comes with a 443cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25.4 bhp at 6,250 rpm and 34 Nm of torque at 3,400 rpm. This engine is 4.5% more powerful and delivers 6.5% more torque than the Scram 411. With a 3mm larger bore size, it provides better torque at lower RPMs, ensuring faster acceleration from a standstill.

The Scram 440 now features a new 6-speed gearbox, replacing the old 5-speed one. It also comes with a lighter clutch, making the ride smoother and easier. These updates ensure a more refined and enjoyable riding experience.

The Scram 440 brings some important updates, like an all-LED headlight and taillight, though the indicators still use halogen bulbs. It features a standard analog-digital instrument console, with an optional Tripper Pod for turn-by-turn navigation. Other additions include a USB Type-A charging port and a redesigned single-piece seat.

The bike is available in two variants, Trail and Force, with five color options. The Trail variant comes in Blue and Green, equipped with spoke wheels and tubed tyres. The Force variant, available in Blue, Grey, and Teal, has tubeless alloy wheels, offering a more modern and convenient design.
