Eligibility Criteria to Avail connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
- Applicant (Only Women) must have attained 18 years of age.
- There should not be any other LPG connection from any OMC in the same household.
- Adult women belonging to any of the following categories- SC, ST, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Most Backward Class (MBC), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), Tea and Ex-Tea Garden tribes, Forest, Dwellers, People residing in Island and River Islands, enlisted under SECC Households (AHL TIN) or any Poor Household as per 14-pont declaration.
Objective of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
If we talk about the objective under PM Ujjwala Yojana, then this scheme has been released with this objective so that the poor women of the country do not have to arrange for fuel etc. and they get the means (fuel) for cooking in the kitchen while sitting at home. How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
To apply for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana you all have to process which is given below:
- All applicants should have visit the official website- https://pmuy.gov.in/
After visiting the website click on “Apply for PMUY Connection” then the company name will display, choose the company name accordingly.
After selecting company click on “Apply for PMUY Connection”.
After that select your state and district name.
After that you must select the nearest distributor from the list and click on continue.
Then a new page will open, enter mobile number and captcha code and submit.
A new form will open, enter your details carefully and upload some important documents.
After filling all details click on submit button and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
