We want to tell you all that lakhs of farmers across the country are getting the benefit of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the government gives ₹6,000 every year to the farmers, which is given in three installments of ₹2,000 each.
Since the launch of this scheme, the government has already sent 19 installments to the farmers. Now, everyone is waiting for the 20th installment. For the past few days, farmers have been waiting for this payment, but the wait is about to end, because the government is going to credit the 20th installment into the farmers’ bank accounts very soon.
In this article, we will tell you what things you should check and correct, because if there is any mistake in your details, you might not receive the money, and you may miss out on the benefit of this scheme.
But there is no need to worry, because you still have time until 30th April to fix the mistakes. So, let’s now talk about what steps you need to take to make sure your money reaches your account without any issue.
I have already told you that under the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana, crores of farmers are getting its benefits. Every year, farmers receive ₹6,000, which is given in three installments of ₹2,000 each.
So far, 19 installments have been given, and now all the farmers are waiting for the 20th installment. According to reports, the 20th installment may come in June 2025. But for that, it is necessary for farmers to have a “Kisan Pehchan Patra” (Farmer Identity Card).
In this post, I will tell you how to make your Kisan Pehchan Patra.
Kisan Pehchan Patra (Farmer Identity Card)
The government has already made it clear that only those farmers who have a Kisan Pehchan Patra will get the benefit of the PM Kisan Samman Yojana in the future.
If any farmer has not yet made their Kisan Pehchan Patra, they must complete it before 30th April 2025. This is important because the 20th installment may be credited in June 2025.
How to Make Farmer Identity Card?
If you do not have a Farmer Identity Card (Kisan Pehchan Patra) yet, you should visit your nearest CSC center or Agriculture Department office to get it made. The government has taken this step to properly identify farmers and ensure they receive full benefits of the PM Kisan Scheme. So, make sure you get this card on time to receive your next installment.
Farmer Identity Card is Now Compulsory
The government has clearly said that only those farmers who have a Kisan Pehchan Patra will get the benefit of the PM Kisan scheme in the future. Also, farmers must get this card made before 30th April 2025. If the card is not ready by that time, the next installment might get delayed or stopped.
Where to Make the Farmer Identity Card?
If you don’t have a Kisan Pehchan Patra, you can visit your nearest CSC (Common Service Center) or Agriculture Department office to apply. This is being done so that only real farmers get the scheme’s benefits. Make sure you apply in time to avoid missing the next payment.
Where to Get More Information?
Farmers who are part of the PM Kisan scheme are also getting messages from the Agriculture Department on their mobile phones. The message clearly says that to receive the next installment, all farmers must get their Farmer Identity Card made before 30th April 2025. This card will also help in verifying the farmer’s identity.
Where Will the Card Be Made?
The message from the Agriculture Department also explains how and where you can get your Farmer ID card made. You can talk to the local agriculture or revenue department officer in your village. You can also go to a camp set up by the department or visit the nearest Jan Suvidha Kendra (Public Service Center) to register easily. After registration, you will receive your Farmer Identity Card.
What is Farmer Registry?
Farmer registration is a part of the government’s Digital Agriculture Mission. Under this, every farmer in India will get a digital identity card just like Aadhaar. This card will contain full details about the farmer, such as land, crops, and eligibility. If you don’t have this card, you may not receive your next PM Kisan installment.
