The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that from February 5 to 7, the temperature may decrease by 3-4 degrees in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
Additionally, pollution levels remain a concern, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the “very poor” category. The weather is expected to remain cloudy, and occasional rain could provide some relief from pollution and cold winds

In Delhi and nearby areas, there was light drizzle early this morning (February 4), along with cool winds, making the weather feel chilly.
The weather department had issued a rain alert for several states, including Delhi, for February 3 and 4. Even today, there is a possibility of rain in many states of northwest India.
According to Skymet, a weather forecasting agency, there may be light rain and snowfall at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, which could increase later.
On February 4 and 5, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan region, with heavy snowfall in some places. Rainfall activity is expected to intensify on February 4, covering several parts of Punjab. Delhi is also likely to receive rain today.
