There is a news regarding 50% DA merger in basic salary of Central Government employees and pensioners. I want to tell you that currently 53% DA given by the Central government to the employee and pensioners.
The Government is revise DA of the employee and pensioners twice in a years, which is give in January and July. Currently employee and pensioners getting salary under the 7th pay commission and 7th pay commission going to end on 1 January 2026.
Why need to Merge 50% DA in Basic salary?
I want to tell you that employee demanding to merge 50% DA in basic salary when it’s reached to 50%. Now all the allowances and benefit getting under the 7th pay commission and there is rule under 7th pay commission if DA will reached or exceeded to 50% then government will merger 50% DA in the basic salary.
Did it Happened Before?
If you will asked to me did it happened before? Then the answer is yes, many times. Under 5th pay commission when DA exceeded to 50% then the government merger the 50% DA into the basic salary of employee and pensioners, and all employees get the benefit of the merger.
How Will Impact on Salary When 50% DA will merge in the Basic Salary?
So, here I want to tell you that currently all central employee and pensioners getting salary and other allowances under the 7th pay commission and now DA is 53% and before March if government revise the DA around 3-4%, then DA will be 56-567%.
If Government will merge 50% DA in the basic salary, then the basic salary will increase of the all employee and pensioners. After increasing the basic salary, the employee will get the next DA benefit on current basic salary, but it does not impact on salary that much.
Will It Merge?
Not sure that it will merge in basic salary but there is news regarding merger, because employee demanding from the government. But union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed that the discussion is under progress and soon it will announce officially.
