Baa at Paris Fashion Week
Ektaa’s first choice was a special scene where Baa, the 80-year-old grandmother, walks the ramp at Paris Fashion Week.
She said this moment was very special because it showed that age is not a limit to following your dreams. “It proves that no matter how old you are, you can still live your dream,” Ektaa shared.
Tulsi Shoots Her Own Son
The second scene close to her heart was the shocking episode where Tulsi kills her son Ansh after he rapes his wife.
Ektaa said this powerful scene was a stand for justice. “Even though it was her own son, she knew what he did was wrong and punished him for it,” she added.
Tulsi Finds Out About Mihir’s Affair
Ektaa’s third favorite was the emotional moment when Tulsi finds out her husband Mihir is having an affair with Mandira.
She remembered how Tulsi broke down in the middle of the street in Australia after hearing the news. The scene felt so real that a stranger even came to check on her. Ektaa called it one of the most emotional moments ever shown on TV.
“This Time, It’s Not Just About TRPs”
Ektaa also made it clear that the new season is not only about TV ratings.
“Agar wapis aayein hain toh TRP ke liye nahi. We’re here for the impact,” she said, meaning they want to make a difference with this new version of the show.
Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 features several of the original cast members, including Smriti Irani as Tulsi and Amar Upadhyay as Mihir, returning to their iconic roles.
