A preliminary 3.7 magnitude earthquake was reported off the coast of San Francisco, according to the US Geological Survey.
The USGS reported the earthquake occurred about three miles from the San Francisco Zoo at a depth of five miles. The San Francisco Fire Department said there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The earthquake’s epicenter was near the San Andreas Fault, with tremors felt mainly in San Francisco and the Peninsula. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said first responders are monitoring the situation after the quake.
A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was felt across the Bay Area, including the KRON4 newsroom, Alameda, Pacifica, and Cupertino.
Two hours later, a smaller 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck at 9:39 a.m. Both quakes were centered near the San Francisco Zoo, about six miles northwest of Daly City.
