Pakistani TikToker Imsha Rehman recently gave her first interview since a fake video scandal forced her to leave social media in November. After explicit videos of her were leaked online late last year, she deactivated her accounts. In an interview with Nukta Pakistan, Imsha explained that the videos were fake and discussed how the scandal affected her life. She also mentioned that Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency has arrested one person concerning the fake video scandal.

On January 30, Imsha Rehman made her first public appearance since November, when fake explicit videos of her began circulating online. In an interview with Nukta Pakistan, the young TikToker wore a black face mask and a hoodie.

“I saw the video. It felt like my life was over,” Rehman said. “I can’t go to university. I can’t face people. I am getting many death threats.”

She criticized those who create fake videos of people. “Some people on social media think it is cool to make videos of others and post them online. But they do not think about how it will affect someone’s life,” she said.

Rehman explained that when the videos went viral, she could have posted an explanation on her account, but she choose took legal action to find out who was behind the incident.

She also praised Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), noting that one person had already been arrested in connection with the videos.

The FIA arrested (According to Hum English) a man named Abdul Aziz from Gujranwala for creating altered videos of Rehman. When questioned, he said that he had only made a meme, and the police did not provide further details.
