4 high speed corridors are going to be built in Jharkhand. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given approval for this. The total length of the four high speed corridors will be 1060 kilometres, which will cost a total of Rs 31379 crore.

Traffic is going to increase between important places, tourist places, religious places, districts and cities in all directions of Jharkhand.

The Road Construction Department has taken steps for the construction of 4 high speed corridors in the state. The alignment of all four corridors has been finalized. To shape the corridor, technical approval has been given after completion of DPR in different parts.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Road Construction Department’s Head Secretary SUNIL Kumar has given the responsibility to the engineers to put the concept of high speed corridor on the ground.

Talking about the length and distance of the corridor, the first is Jharkhand East-West Corridor whose length will be 335 KM.

Second, Jharkhand Eastern Corridor whose length will be 332 KM.

Third one, Jharkhand North-South whose length will be 286.4 KM.

Fourth one, Jharkhand Central corridor whose length will be 107.13 KM.

Road Construction Department’s Head Secretary Sunil Kumar said that under the vision of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, high speed corridors will be built in the state with the aim of speeding up transportation between all directions, major religious places, district headquarters, cities and villages.

DPR for this project is under progress after completion of DPR technical approval to be approved.

Technical survey already started, and it will be 42 km Green Field Road.
