This morning, while searching for something, I came across an article and decided to read it. After reading it, I felt extremely disturbed. To be honest, even I was unaware of this story until now.
After reading it, I felt that I should share this story with you all so that you, too, can know about it and understand what is right and what is wrong.
This is the story of our country’s daughter, a story that has been suppressed for years and never made it to the media. It is a story so horrifying that it will send shivers down your spine. What happened to her was beyond cruel.
First, let me tell you that in 2023, Smriti Irani raised this case in Parliament. But here, I will provide you with all the details.
This is the story of Girija Tickoo, a 25-year-old woman. This incident happened in 1990. Girija Tickoo was a teacher in Bandipora, Kashmir. This was during a time when terrorism was at its peak in Kashmir. When the situation worsened in 1990, she left Bandipora for her safety, but she couldn’t take her belongings with her.
A few days later, she was informed that the situation had improved and that everything was normal. Believing this, she went back to retrieve her belongings.
But she never returned.
When this teacher went back to collect her things, she was brutally assaulted. She was gang-raped by the extremists.
However, what happened after the rape was even more horrifying—something that shakes the very core of humanity.
After raping her, these monsters used a Hexa blade (saw) to cut her body into two pieces. It was a crime of unimaginable brutality.
After the rape, these inhuman monsters sawed her body from her private parts, splitting her into two halves, and dumped her body on the road.
But the most shocking part is that this gruesome incident never made it to the newspapers or media. No one ever talked about it.
Such a horrific crime took place in our country, yet no one even got to know about it. Even today, our daughters are still waiting for justice.
I won’t tell you who the Chief Minister of Kashmir was at that time or who was the Prime Minister of our country. That is something you should find out yourself because knowing this truth is very important for all of us.
The real question is—why did news of Girija Tickoo never reach you?
Recently, when a man was kicked, the entire country shook with outrage. When a terrorist was tied to a jeep to protect Indian soldiers from a violent mob, human rights activists protested in full force.
But what about Girija Tickoo's human rights?
The Congress government remained a silent accomplice, facilitating the exodus of Hindus from Kashmir. The brutal gang rape and murder of Girija Tickoo—sawed into two by Islamic extremists—was a direct result of this sinister conspiracy.

इस कहानी को पढ़ने के बाद मुझे लगा कि इसे आप सभी तक पहुँचाना चाहिए, ताकि आप सही और गलत का फर्क समझ सकें।
यह कहानी है हमारे देश की एक बेटी की, जिसे आज तक दबाकर रखा गया और कभी भी मीडिया में जगह नहीं दी गई। यह एक ऐसी लड़की की कहानी है, जिसे जानकर आपके रोंगटे खड़े हो जाएंगे, क्योंकि उसके साथ जो हुआ वह इंसानियत को शर्मसार करने वाला था।
सबसे पहले मैं आपको यह बता दूँ कि साल 2023 में स्मृति ईरानी इस मामले को संसद में उठा चुकी हैं, लेकिन मैं आपको यहाँ पूरी घटना विस्तार से बताने वाला हूँ।
यह कहानी है गिरिजा टिक्कू की, जो सिर्फ 25 साल की थीं। यह घटना 1990 की है।
गिरिजा टिक्कू कश्मीर के बांदीपोरा में एक शिक्षक थीं। 1990 में जब कश्मीर में आतंकवाद चरम पर था, तब उन्होंने मजबूर होकर अपना घर छोड़ दिया और कहीं और चली गईं। लेकिन वह अपना सारा सामान वहीं छोड़ आई थीं।
कुछ समय बाद, किसी ने उन्हें बताया कि अब माहौल सामान्य हो गया है और सब कुछ ठीक हो गया है। यह सुनकर वे अपने घर से छोड़ा हुआ सामान लेने के लिए बांदीपोरा वापस गईं। लेकिन वह कभी लौटकर नहीं आईं।
जब वह वहाँ पहुँची, तो उनके साथ जो हुआ, वह रूह कंपा देने वाली घटना थी।
उन्हें एक भीड़ ने घेर लिया और उनका गैंगरेप किया। लेकिन जो उसके बाद हुआ, वह इंसानियत को भी शर्मसार कर देने वाला था।
उन दरिंदों ने न केवल उनका बलात्कार किया, बल्कि बलात्कार के बाद उन्हें जीवित अवस्था में ही हेक्सा ब्लेड से दो हिस्सों में काट दिया। यह बेहद दर्दनाक और अमानवीय कृत्य था।
उन्होंने गिरिजा टिक्कू के शरीर को उनके गुप्तांगों से लेकर सिर तक एक आरी से दो टुकड़ों में चीर दिया और फिर उनके शव को सड़क पर फेंक दिया।
लेकिन सबसे दुखद और शर्मनाक बात यह है कि यह घटना कभी भी अखबारों और मीडिया में नहीं आई।
इस देश में इतनी बड़ी घटना घटी, लेकिन किसी को इसकी खबर तक नहीं हुई। आज तक हमारी इस बेटी को न्याय नहीं मिला।
मैं आपको यह नहीं बताऊँगा कि उस समय कश्मीर में कौन मुख्यमंत्री था और देश में कौन प्रधानमंत्री था। यह जानकारी आपको खुद खोजनी होगी, क्योंकि इस सच को जानना आप सभी के लिए बेहद ज़रूरी है।
