RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Dates Announced
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the dates for the second Computer Based Test (CBT 2) for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment exam 2024. Additionally, the CBT 2 exam for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) has been rescheduled. RRB ALP & JE CBT 2 Exam Dates
ALP CBT 2 Exam: Scheduled for March 19th and 20th, 2024.
CBT 2 for JE & Other Posts: New dates will be announced soon.
Exam City Slip & Admit Card Release
Candidates can check their exam city, date, and travel authority (for SC/ST candidates) on the RRB website 10 days before the exam.
Admit cards (E-Call Letters) will be released 4 days before the exam.
Biometric verification through Aadhaar will be mandatory at exam centers. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printed e-Aadhaar copy.

RRB ALP & JE Recruitment: Total Vacancies
ALP Recruitment: Initially, there were 5,696 posts, but due to additional demand from railway zones, the vacancies have increased to 18,799 posts.
JE Recruitment: A total of 7,951 posts are available, distributed as follows:
17 posts for Chemical Supervisor, Research, and Metallurgical Supervisor.
7,934 posts for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

Based on the performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted from December 2, 2024, to December 13, 2024, the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have provisionally shortlisted candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the post of Sub-Inspector (S.I.) under CEN RPF-01/2024.
Individual Scorecard: Available for viewing from March 6, 2025, by logging into the RRB portal with Registration Number and Date of Birth.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the results of the RPF SI recruitment exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the regional RRB website from which they applied.
Candidates who have qualified in the written exam will now proceed to the next stage of the selection process, which includes the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
As per the official notification, the exam dates for the shortlisted candidates will be communicated through the website, email, or SMS in due course. Additionally, the individual scorecards will be available for download on March 6.

Roll Numbers: Arranged in ascending order (not in merit order) and listed vertically.
PET/PMT Schedule: The date will be notified through the official website, SMS, and email in due course.
Document Verification (DV): To be conducted on the same day as PET/PMT for qualifying candidates.

Candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth. Successful candidates will be informed about the next stage, PET/PMT, through the website, email, or SMS at the appropriate time. They can also download the result by providing their registration number and date of birth.
Candidates should note that those who qualify for PET/PMT will also have their educational and other documents verified on the same day.
