Candidates who wish to apply against this advertisement must first register online as Technician/Trade/Graduate Apprentices on the respective State portal, according to their trade mentioned below.”

Step-2
After applying through the respective NAPS/NATS Portal, candidates must also complete their registration/application for apprentice positions on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal at https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/
Fill all the details and summit. After submitting a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. And same sent to the Candidates mail and SMS.
Candidates will have login with registration number and password.
Candidates have to fill all details carefully and upload some important documents like Photo, signature etc.
After submitting the application, candidates take printout of the application for future reference.
Selection Process
Shortlisting & Merit List
A Panel-cum-Merit List will be prepared for all candidates who apply through the respective portal and meet the eligibility criteria.
The merit list will be based on the percentage of marks (in descending order) obtained in the essential qualification for the applied trade.
Aggregate of marks of all subjects of all years/semesters will be considered.
CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grade Conversion
If marks are awarded as CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade, candidates must indicate the equivalent aggregate percentage in the online application, as per the conversion norms of their Board/University/Institute.
A conversion certificate from the Board/University/Institute must be uploaded and produced at the time of document verification.
If no conversion formula exists, candidates must produce a certificate confirming this. In such cases, the aggregate of grade scores obtained in each semester/year, divided by the total semesters/years, will be taken as the percentage.
In case of Letter Grades, candidates must submit a certificate clearly specifying the equivalent percentage, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates secure the same percentage, the candidate with the earlier date of birth (older in age) will be given preference.
If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with a higher percentage in Matriculation will be considered.
No Exam / Interview
No Written Test or Personal Interview will be conducted for selection.
