For All positions candidates must have 60% Marks for UR/OBC-NC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD.

All qualifications should be full-time regular courses from AICTE-approved or UGC-recognized Universities, Deemed Universities, or State Boards. Courses offered by Autonomous Institutions must be equivalent to the relevant courses approved or recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), UGC, or AICTE.

Application Fees

UR/OBC-NC/EWS Rs.1000/- + GST @18% (180) = Rs. 1180

SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

How to Apply Online?

Before start of filling-up of application through online mode, the candidates should keep ready the following documents/details:

Valid Email Id and mobile number for proper communication. It suggested to provide personal email id and mobile number.

Scan copy of recent passport size color Photograph (Photo should be recent), signature, experience certificate, mark sheet, cast certificate etc.

Candidates are requested to visit official website of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited www.hindustanpetroleum.com.

Go to the Creers and click on “Current Openings”.

Fill all the details and summit. After submitting a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.  And same sent to the Candidates mail and SMS.

Candidates will have login with registration number and password.

Candidates have to fill all details carefully and upload some important documents like Photo, signature etc.

After submitting application, automatically redirect to payment page, click on the fee and pay the application fee and take print out the receipt.

After submitting the application, candidates take printout of the application for future reference.

SHORTLISTING & SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process may include various shortlisting and selection tools such as Computer-Based Test (CBT), Group Task/Group Discussion, Skill Test, Personal Interview, Pre-Employment Medical Examination, and Physical Fitness Efficiency Test, depending on the position requirements.

All candidates meeting the requisite eligibility criteria may be invited to appear for the Computer-Based Test.

The Computer-Based Test will consist of objective questions and will be divided into two parts:

General Aptitude – Includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Intellectual Potential Test (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).

Technical/Professional Knowledge – Covers questions related to the qualifying degree or educational background required for the applied position.

Candidates who qualify in the Computer-Based Test may be shortlisted for Group Task/Group Discussion, Skill Test, and Personal Interview based on merit and a predetermined ratio. Candidates who qualify in the Group Task/Group Discussion will proceed to the Personal Interview and Skill Test. Those shortlisted will then undergo the Pre-Employment Medical Examination and Physical Fitness Efficiency Test.

Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each applicable stage of the selection process to be considered for further rounds.

The Physical Fitness Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature.

A category-wise and discipline-wise merit list will be prepared for all candidates who qualify in all applicable selection stages.
