Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur has finally responded to the ongoing rumours linking her romantically with Tamil superstar Dhanush. But now, Mrunal has set the record straight. Speaking in a recent interview with Only Kollywood, the actress laughed off the dating buzz and made it clear there’s nothing romantic between them.
“Dhanush is just a good friend to me,” she said, calling the rumours “funny” and “unfounded.”
She also clarified a recent misunderstanding about Dhanush attending the screening of Son of Sardaar 2. “He didn’t come because of me. It was Ajay Devgn who invited him,” Mrunal explained, dismissing the idea that she had anything to do with his presence at the event.

The dating speculation first began when Mrunal attended the wrap-up party of Tere Ishq Mein, a film starring Dhanush and Aanand L Rai. She also stressed the importance of setting boundaries in showbiz. “We should control how much we share with the world. Sometimes we talk too much about what we’re doing, and we end up jinxing it ourselves,” she added.
