DELHI NCR: It was cloudy throughout the day in Delhi NCR on Saturday and in the evening, there was rain along with clod wind, due to that cold increased further. According to the weather Department light drizzling is also expected on Sunday. The maximum temperature on Sunday is expected 17 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature will be 11 degrees Celsius. Light drizzle may persist at some places. Wind speed likely to remain around 4- 8 kmh. It is expected to be cloudy during the day.
Light Fog may be seen from Sunday evening. The weather department has issued a yellow fog alert for Monday and Tuesday morning.
The maximum temperature recorded in Safdar Ganj on Saturday, which is 2.9 degrees less than normal.
The maximum temperature in Lodhi Road was 16.3 degrees, which is 4.7 degrees less than normal.
FLIGHT and TRAIN DELAY DUE TO FOG
Due to Fog, about 125 flights took off late from Delhi Airport and out of which 25 flight were International and 100 domestic flights. Due to fog, there has been a lot of impact on Railway Operation also. More than 80 trains coming and going from different station of Delhi were affected on Saturday. Due to late train passengers have faces the problem. In this, trains coming from North India were more affected.
In this, about 50 Trains arrived late at different stations of Delhi, which including train like Vande Bharat, Rajdhani etc.
