How to Apply Online?

Before start of filling-up of application through online mode, the candidates should keep ready the following documents/details:

Valid Email Id and mobile number for proper communication. It suggested to provide personal email id and mobile number.

Scan copy of recent passport size color Photograph (Photo should be recent), signature, experience certificate, mark sheet, cast certificate etc.

Under the Advertisement click on Link “Apply Online”.

Next page Under online service click on “ Registration”.

Fill all the details and summit. After submitting a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.  And same sent to the Candidates mail and SMS.

Candidates will have login with registration number and password.

Candidates have to fill all details carefully and upload some important documents like Photo, signature etc.

After submitting application, automatically redirect to payment page, click on the fee and pay the application fee and take print out the receipt.

After submitting the application, candidates take printout of the application for future reference.

Selection Process

Written Test: The written examination will be of 100 marks. There will be a question paper of 2 hours duration in which 100 questions will be asked and 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.

Syllabus

General Studies:

This section will include objective-type questions aimed at assessing the candidate’s general awareness of their surroundings and their ability to apply this knowledge in society.

Questions related to current affairs, day-to-day events, and a scientific perspective on these matters will also be included. These questions will be based on the level of general knowledge expected from an educated individual.

Additionally, there will be specific questions related to Bihar, India, and its neighboring countries.

Current Affairs

Scientific advancements, national/international awards, Indian languages, books, scripts, capitals, currencies, sports and athletes, and significant events.

India and Its Neighboring Countries:

History of neighboring countries, history of India, culture, geography, economic scenario, freedom movement, key features of Indian agriculture and natural resources, Indian Constitution and governance, political system of the country, Panchayati Raj, community development, five-year plans, and Bihar’s contribution to the national movement.

General Science & Mathematics:

Questions will generally be based on the following subjects at the matriculation level:

General Science:

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography.

Mathematics:

Questions related to the number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetic operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit, and loss.

Mental Ability Test

Both verbal and non-verbal types of questions may be asked in this section. Topics may include:

Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, analysis, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetic number series, coding, and decoding.

Main Examination:

There will be two papers for the main examination:

Hindi (Qualifying Paper):

Candidates must score at least 30% marks in this paper. Only those who meet this criterion will have their second paper evaluated.
