The much-awaited trailer of Salman Khan’s Eid release, Sikandar, was launched on Sunday. In the film, Salman Khan will be seen romancing Rashmika Mandanna, who is 31 years younger than him. As expected, this age gap between the lead pair became a big topic of discussion.

At the trailer launch event, Salman Khan addressed the issue in his signature style. He responded to the media’s curiosity with a witty answer that left everyone in splits.

But he didn’t stop there. He continued joking about the age difference between him and Rashmika. Salman said, “And when she (Rashmika) gets married and has a daughter, and if she becomes a big star, then also we will work together. We will get the mother’s (Rashmika’s) permission for sure.”

Salman Khan also praised Rashmika Mandanna for her dedication and hard work in the film. He shared how she managed her schedule while working on another big film, Pushpa 2.

“She has given her best performance in the film. She used to finish shooting for Pushpa 2 at 7 pm and then join our set at 9 pm. She worked till 6.30 in the morning and then went back to shoot Pushpa 2 again. Even after she injured her leg, she continued working with us without cancelling a single day of the shoot,” Salman Khan revealed.

Salman further added, “She reminds me a lot of my younger self.” This statement shows how much he respects her dedication towards acting.
