8th Pay Commission
Central Government Employees and Pensioners demanding for 8th pay commission from long time. All employees and pensioners are expecting revision of pay but the government has not taken any decision regarding the 8th pay commission.
It has been 9 years since the 7th pay commission and till now the government has not taken any decision regarding the 8th pay commission and no committee has been formed for 8th pay commission, due to which all the employees and pensioners are very worried and frustrated.

7th Pay Commission
Currently all Central Government employee’s and pensioners are getting salary and allowances under 7th pay commission. It has been 9 years since the 7th pay commission was implemented. I want to tell you that when the 7th pay commission was implemented that time also all employees and pensioners were not happy with the decision of government.
Kind for your information, I want to tell you that the Central Government has also not paid 18th months DA arrears. During Covid-19 the government temporarily stopped the DA of the employee’s and pensioners, and this amount is still pending.
Under the 7th pay commission, minimum salary of employee is 18000, and now current DA is 53%.
Also, I want to tell you that there are rule in 7th pay commission, if DA reached to 50% then that 50% of the basic will add to the basic of salary but government also not added and now DA is 53%.
When 8th Pay Commission will Come?
I want to tell you that till no official notification out regarding the 8th pay commission, but soon government take decision for 8th pay commission.
Salary revision of Central Government employees and pensioners is done every 10 years, before this it was done on 1 January 2016. Now it’s time for the 8th pay commission and all employees are waiting for implementation of pay commission, but the government has not taken any decision and not given any positive sign for 8th pay commission. This time employees demanding 3 times of basic salary previously it was 2.57 times of basic salary.
